JobsCDL.com Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) statement establishes the rules, expectations, and legal framework for its use by job seekers and employers. Key provisions include: Core Clauses

  • Acceptance of Terms: By using the job board, users agree to be bound by the T&Cs and a linked Privacy Policy.
  • User Responsibilities: Users are solely responsible for all content they post, including the accuracy of job ads, employment histories, and other information. Content must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and not be discriminatory, false, or misleading.
  • Prohibited Activities: The site must not be used for illegal activities, transmitting harmful or offensive materials, infringing on intellectual property rights, or attempting to breach the site's security.
  • Intellectual Property: All content provided by the site owner is typically protected by copyright and other laws; users are granted a limited license to use the content only as permitted by the T&Cs.
  • Disclaimer of Warranties: The job board disclaims any guarantees regarding job placement, a position being filled, or the validity of job vacancies or applicant qualifications. Services are usually provided "as is" without warranty.
  • Limitation of Liability: The job board and its affiliates are generally not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the site.
  • Account Termination: The job board reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate the terms or for any other reason at its sole discretion.
  • Governing Law and Disputes: The agreement specifies which jurisdiction's laws will govern any disputes.
  • Changes to Terms: The job board reserves the right to modify the T&Cs at any time, with continued use after changes signifying user acceptance of the new terms.

Key Actions Prohibited for Users

  • Posting incomplete, false, or inaccurate information.
  • Using information from the board for any purpose other than obtaining or filling a job opening.
  • Posting opportunities that require upfront payments or recruitment of other members (e.g., pyramid schemes).
  • Attempting to delete or revise material posted by other users.
